1. What SleepGuard does
SleepGuard helps users monitor snoring activity during sleep, review morning reports, and optionally sync selected sleep-related information with Apple Health.
2. Data we may process
Depending on the features a user enables, SleepGuard may process microphone input, session summaries, snoring event markers, local settings, notification preferences, and optional HealthKit-linked sleep data.
3. Microphone access
Microphone permission is requested only so the app can detect snoring-related audio patterns during an active recording session. Audio analysis is intended for the app experience described in SleepGuard.
4. On-device handling
SleepGuard is designed around on-device processing. Session details, generated reports, and saved audio clips are intended to remain under the user's control on their device unless the user explicitly exports or shares them.
5. Notifications
If enabled, notifications may be used for morning reports, weekly summaries, and bedtime reminders. These can be turned off from iOS Settings or the app's own settings screen.
6. HealthKit
HealthKit access is optional. When a user grants authorization, SleepGuard may write eligible sleep-related data to Apple Health. Users can revoke this access at any time from the Health app or iOS Settings.
7. Subscription and purchase data
Premium subscription handling is performed through Apple's in-app purchase systems. SleepGuard does not ask users to provide payment card data directly inside the app.
8. Data retention and deletion
Locally stored reports, session history, and saved audio clips can be deleted by the user from within the app where available. Removing the app may also remove local app data, subject to iOS behavior and user backup settings.
9. Children's privacy
SleepGuard is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization where required by applicable law.
10. Third-party services
If third-party infrastructure, analytics, crash reporting, or support tooling is added in future versions, this policy should be updated before release to reflect those services and their data handling roles.
11. Your choices
Users can deny microphone, notification, or HealthKit permissions and can change permission decisions later in iOS Settings. Some app features may not work without the relevant access.
12. Contact
For privacy-related requests, users can contact support@appnor.io.
